Hello! I'm Sharon Grimes, the artist, owner and creator of all the products at Dirt Roads. This photo was taken April 15, 2023. Here I am showcasing one of our most popular earring styles. We have over 3500 earring styles in stock now and lots of other jewelry as well. At this point, I only have 1 employee here besides myself, that works out front in the retail area. I work the retail area on Saturdays and most Sunday's. I spend the rest of my time mostly glazing and making pottery. I also make the handmade fragrance and Candle line. And spend many hours looking for new jewelry designs!

The DirtRoads Photo Story
Dirt Roads started in this meager collection of structures in October 2010 after my 8000 square foot store "Lofton's" burned.
In July 2011 I bought this cozy little place, about 3 acreas, located on Hwy16 in Edinburg, MS.
April 2012 we converted the carport (that housed the first kiln) into a fresh air market place.
Filled the fresh air market with pottery!
June 2012 and the new L&L kiln.
We made it through 2013 with the fresh air market.
In January 2014, we finished the 2nd larger showroom building.
We decked the halls!
Haley and Heather louging on the new porch.
July 2015
The Dirt Roads Compound houses and feeds around 20 cats. Most of them feral or abandoned cats.
Converted shipping container to organized storage area for pottery. Customers can easily view pottery for multiple item purchases.
The compound grows!
Equipment Updates! October 2015 Electric Slab Roller
Ramps, clay loading dock and lots of rolling racks and a wagon!
March 2017 - Added new 50 x 12 foot expansion for a larger jewelry showroom, work area and sales counter.
August 2017 - Full showroom of pottery!
We do the Canton, MS Flea Market 2 times a year. Our retail business has been mostly built from customers we meet here.
Christmas 2019 - A parking lot full of cars!
In 2019 we added our own custom fragrance line which offers candles, lotions & soaps.
The store front in April 2023. This will be my last expansion. July 1, 2023 will mark my 12th year at this location. What a glorious journey this has been.
Made, glazed & dried pottery in the small 20 x 12 studio. Kiln was under the portable carport and finished wares stored and sold from the cargo trailer. Just me and my faithful dog ... it was a good time.
Packed the cargo trailer and moved and with the help of my nephew transformed the 20 x 12 cabin into a "showroom".
Adding roses, a trellis and picnic table, making it an inviting and homey looking place for customers to shop!
Our name got around and orders like this one from the Mississippi Poultry Association made the year a success.
Sara Beth Gross modelling our handmade jewelry in the small showroom.
Bags ready to be picked up as customers buy Christmas presents, leaving us with only one lime green salad plate! (you can see it in the back left corner)
Filled up the new showroom!
And bagged up the Christmas Spirit ... it was a good year.
In February 2015 finished out a mobile structure adding a lot more space. Room for an office, jewelry storage, living quarters and an employee louging area.
We have two retail showrooms and the production area is closeby.
October 2015 - Pug Mill
Expanded showroom for more jewelry!
In Spring of 2018 we designed the "Jar Topper". Our customers love dressing up their mason jars with this product.
New retail space October 2019!
The added space gives us over 2000 square feet of retail space. It's our 4th Graceland building.
