After 15 years of retailing, a fire destroyed my original family owned store and I was suddenly left with nothing.  The store was home to me and my dog, Buttercup so we were left with no livelihood or a  place to live.    Calling a friend,  I quickly found a new place to live,  10 miles from Carthage in Walnut Grove, in an area very near to the farm I spent my childhood on.  Fortunately,  a large patch of these wooded rambling hills is still family owned.

This land stretches around the original dirt road I grew up on.  .   While wandering around through this land I came upon the idea of my new business. Settling back to my roots in this  rural outreach
I began my new business venture called  DirtRoads Pottery.    Miles of winding dirt roads aligned with woodlands, swamps and thickets provide endless inspiration for singular creations.

Current home for DirtRoads Pottery
Above is the new home for Buttercup, me and DirtRoads Pottery.  Situated on almost 3 acres near Edinburg, MS, we have this nice little showroom.   Part of the house has been converted to a spacious workshop which includes separate rooms for clay work, painting and a nice kiln area.
